COVID-19

Your care and safety, and the safety of our team, is our top priority. As always, we are adhering to CDC, ADA,  and OSHA regulations.  We are committed to doing our part to minimize the impact of COVID-19 by taking additional precautions in response to the pandemic. Thank you for helping by doing your part to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • You will receive an appointment reminder 24 hours prior to your appointment. We will ask you a series of screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you arrive.
  • NEW PATIENTS: Please fill out the medical and dental history forms online and email it back prior to your appointment. If you can not, then please come in 30 minutes before your appointment to fill out paperwork in your car. 
  • Only patients will come inside, unless the patient is a minor or absolutely needs an aide. All other visitors must wait in the car.
  • When you arrive, please stay in the car. Text or call us to let us know you are here. We will come out to your car to greet you, take your temperature, and ask you the screening questions again.
  • Please maintain best hygienic practices. If you are coming from work, please wear a clean change of clothes to our office. You must wear a mask to enter our office. Please only remove your mask when instructed by our staff to do so.
  • In order to maintain social distancing, we are managing our appointments differently. You may be offered fewer options for scheduling. We apologize for this inconvenience.
  • The waiting area is closed. We no longer offer magazines or children's toys.
  • We have installed counter shields in our front office area, as well as additional barriers for infection control.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • All patients entering our office must have a temperature reading of less than 100.4°F, wear a face mask, and use hand sanitizer upon entering our office.  Please leave unnecessary belongings in the car or at home.
  • Touch surfaces as little as possible.
  • All patients are required to rinse with hydrogen peroxide for 1 minute once in the treatment room.
  • All clinical surfaces are being cleaned and disinfected according to CDC guidelines. Staff are being screened twice daily, wearing appropriate PPE at all times, and adhering to social distancing guidelines whenever possible. In addition, we have incorporated several new methods to reduce aerosols and disinfect the air. You may notice the following changes:
  1. Dedicated extraoral vacuum and filtration system.
  2. High Volume Evacuation suction used for all procedures.
  3. Standalone air Purifiers using hepa filters and plasma technology.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • We will reserve a date and time for your next appointment. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please give 48 hours notice so we can reserve that time for other patients. If you fail to do so, there may be an associated fee.
  • You are instructed to report any COVID-19 symptoms to us within the next 14 days.

Please be assured that although this may seem strange, we are doing everything out of an abundance of caution and concern for your health. As always, we strive to provide our patients with the most comfortable and positive experience possible, while strictly adhering to CDC, ADA, and OSHA regulations.
